Fixing A Few Things
[Posted by Saturn]

We are fixing a few things before we release the Aliens Revisited Lv-426b CTF Map. They are just to tweak the map to make it more enjoyable and look a little nicer. When I receive the updated file and everything is a go we will release it to you for download. It should not be very long until the Map is available to you all. We thought it is best to have the finished version for you all to download 1 easy time instead of having to re-download several patches over and over again.

Aliens Revisited Lv-426 Pics
[Posted by Saturn]

HWell Friday the Zip Disk came with the new Lv-426b CTF Map. Some of The Kindred got to beta test it over the weekend and are still messing around and play testing the level. We have taken a few screen shots of the level for you all since you do not have access to the files just yet. But that will change shortly, the Aliens Revisited Lv-426b CTF Map will be available for you all to download tomorrow. In the meantime here are the pictures for you all to drool over.

The last picture #17 shows that Dutch has even thought of the ability to shoot through walls just like with the SG in AO hehehe. Its actually just on the tip of the top of the walls, you cant really shoot through the walls so don't be scared :P

Files

In the Files section you will find the already released Kindred Keep CTF Map. The Map has 1 or 2 spots (particularly around the Flag) which does not show up on most computers because the designer used a different texture that most others don't have (which he didn't realize at the time) so Q3 replaces the blank texture with a black and white boxed default texture so the person can still play the level. Either Friday or Monday the zip disk will arrive that will have the corrected CTF Map. If you do not want to wait you can download the already existing CTF Map, it runs perfectly and looks incredible. Also some great news, along with the corrected CTF Map will be the brand new Lv-426 CTF Map. The Map was done all from scratch using Q3 Textures so it will look different but you will easily tell its Lv-426, with the Generator Room, Hive, Elevators and all the vents that the Aliens loved to hide in. This was not done for any profit whatsoever, and was done solely for the enjoyment and remembering of AO. The Map was created for The Kindred but we will have it in our Files section for download if any of you would like to play it as well. The Map is about 5 levels and is very large so it will be fragalishious.
