Many Interviews have been going on about this great game called Tribes 2 and here we have a Gamespot Interview which has 30 pictures but many will be familiar but the interview does hit on some different topics, and talked briefly about the weather effects which sounds real cool. If you cant get enough of interviews for Tribes 2 then this is for you :P

Can you believe that over 33,000 people signed up for the Beta test for Tribes 2? That is a lot of people who want to Beta test a game :)))) So out of those 33,000 + people they chose roughly 1,000 and have already chosen around 800 and keeping the rest to give away in contests and such. They are not taking any more applications which I can see why. For the ones that did not get a nice e-mail for being a Beta Tester we will just wait patiently for the game to be released and kill, kill, kill <EG>

Over at Amazon.com they have the box cover of the most anticipated Tribes 2 game. They even say that the game will be released on September 30, 2000. If they are correct then whoop doggy dog I cant wait. If you want to check out the picture of the box art then click right here.

Yes that is right folks, lets all say it together. Boom Shakalaka!@! We have so many NEW screenshots of Tribes 2 it will make you say it over and over again. Lets see where to start, 3D Action Planet has 12 new shots. Gamespot did a Preview of the game and with previews comes 8 new screenies. & If that isn't enough we have 21 new screenshots from the good people over at Gamespy which shows off a lot of new stuff like a big ol ultra cool tank and the vehicle station. After viewing all of these screenshots you will be screaming for Tribes 2 NOW hehehe.

Screenies for all!!! Here we have a bunch of brand spankin new screens for you to chew on. The people at PC.IGN have put up 17 great pictures of Tribes 2 Alpha version. There is a picture that has a rather large robotic figure in it, not for sure what it is but check it out for yourself by clicking here.

You want more you say? Gamespot graciously put up 10 new game shots of the Tribes 2 Alpha version. These pictures mostly show the extremely cool terrain system only found on the Tribes 2 Engine :)))) Here are the pics or if you want some good read then check out the article that goes with the new pics.

Over at Planetstarsiege they have some great news that you dont want to miss. Here is the news.

  Dave Georgeson talked about what Dynamix is looking for, in the way of servers for the Tribes 2 beta test. You can check out   the thread, here.

     We're going to be accepting applications for Tribes 2 Beta Servers at the same time that we take apps for beta testers. (And, in      fact, on the same web-based form.)

     The requirements for a T2 server will be high so that performance during beta is not an issue. Requirements will be LOWER      THAN THIS in the released version, so don't panic.

     Here are the BETA requirements for a dedicated testing server, if you are interested:

     -- broadband network connection (not a modem)
     -- CPU speed 600 MHz or greater
     -- 256 MB of RAM or greater
     -- dedicated server (i.e. you cannot play the game on the machine.)
     -- the machine must be running 24/7 during the beta test

     Those folks that run dedicated servers during beta are a shoe-in for "authorized" sites after release. "Authorized" sites will      get   perks. I'm not sure what those will be yet, but they'll get 'em.

The Kindred will be having their Tribes night tonight at 7:00pm est just like we planned but after tonight we are changing it from 7:00pm est to 8:00pm est. We meet in our Public Chatroom so even people who do not have Tribes can hang out with everyone and talk with their old friends.

The Kindred will now be having Tribes Night on Mondays at 7:00pm est. We will meet this Monday in the public Chatroom before we head into a game and we encourage anyone who wants to play with us to come. We hope to see you all there.
