October 7th 1999

We had a close call on one of our drops this week. A FT was doing their normal rutines on clearing an area and a newer marine didnt check all the key locations for bugs and said it was clear for the others to enter behind him. Emediatly 3 aliens jump out from the dark corridor he did not check good. Some acid splash took his right arm but the medics patched him up and he is resting in med lab recooperating. But little mistakes as not checking a door or vent could cost your life and your team mates. Lets just hope the new recruits the company is sending us are a bit more cautious. Were prepping up tomorrow for a big drop and meeting up with a few other friendly corps to help us in this battle. The planet is infested with hundreds of xenos, its gona be a good ol time with me and my boys. Lets just hope were all ready for it and stay sharp. I need to prep the Drop Ship before we head off tomorrow so this is Saturn signing off.
