The following are some of the features that are already finished or near completion and will be ready for our first release.

• 8 alien classes, featuring new aliens, all new models, skins and attributes
• 6 marine classes, featuring new marines, all new models, skins, weapons sets, and attributes
• Several Mult-Player modes to choose from like Team Deathmatch and Objective-based gameplay
• Complex teamwork objectives that are unique for each map
• 8 all-new maps recreated and enhanced from those in Aliens Online
• All new maps made just for AO2:Encounter
• Interactive use of the torch (including welding) and hacking device in MP
• New weapon "ensnare device" and modified weapons
• 2 new vision modes for alien and anti-xeno characters
• Motion tracker is a selectable weapon and limited to specific classes
• Working staging area where you can chat with friends and enemies before jumping into a server.
• Scoring list for the top players in AO2:Encounter
• And much more!

The following list are some of the features that we have planned for our Total Conversion and will need the Source Code before we can add it to the game.

• Fire Team (FT) creation, allowing 4 marines to gear up and enter a mission together
• Fire Team cameras. The 4 marines in a FT can view what each team member is seeing
• Automated sentry turrets planted by the Engineer class
• Medic heal ability
• Royal Jelly for the Queen/Empress to give additional health to the aliens
• Alien mini-map with marines and aliens showing up color coded for strategic attacks
• Marine stamina, no more running none stop with heavy equipment
• Single Queen/Empress in a map instead of multiple people being the Queen/Empress
