Background:
These are some of the
largest aliens you can find, almost twice the size of
a runner. Royal Guard aliens are chosen genetically to
molt into a Queen. Only one Royal Guard can successfully
make this molt, after which the remaining of these aliens
cannot molt. These aliens are stronger than drones, runners,
and sprinters, but despite their size are surpassed by
the warriors in strength and durability. These aliens
cannot leap or climb walls, but have powerful claws and
puncturing tails similar in design to the warrior, as
well as the ability to use their secondary jaws to kill
or eat. Royal Guards also have armor plating similar to
the warrior. They are, however, extremely slow because
of their size. The first Royal Guard to reach sufficient
maturity will become a Queen. Only if the current Queen
leaves the game will another Royal Guard get the chance
to molt, if the Queen is killed then no one can molt into
her again. |
