Incoming Transmission : We’ve gotten clear reports that a nearby agricultural colony has been overrun by Xenomorphs. Your APC will be arriving at the colony gates in under thirty minutes, so pay attention. We’ve got no signs at all that any colonists are still alive, so this is going to be pretty standard eradication. The agro complex is a large place, with a number of separate greenhouse labs and irrigation tunnels. We’ve got a pretty good idea that the hive is located in these tunnels. They sprawl around under the rock surrounding the base, but there will be some clear access points on the lower level. Those tunnels will be humid, cramped, and filled with water, so be careful in there. Now here’s the bad news. This hive represents a unique opportunity for the Company to get some research specimens, and they’re really taking a strong stance on this one. We’ve got clear instructions from them that they will not send a dropship for your squad until you capture some xeno eggs. The humidity should keep these eggs dormant long enough to get them outside, so you shouldn’t have to worry about them opening up in your face. Get your squad down to the hive and pick up four eggs. Our intel tells us the bugs won’t move their eggs around once they’re planted, so don’t worry about them being hidden anywhere but the hive. Once you’ve done this, the Company assures us they will honor their part of the deal and send down a dropship – get your squad back there ASAP for evac.
